Some photos from a horseback riding trip in north Florida. The black racer was brought to my attention when one of the girls informed me there was a snake in the grass. I rode back and gave my horse to someone else while I caught the snake. It was a little chilly that day (it was December 5th) so the snake was rather slow and easy to catch.
My sister enjoys going fast--very fast--on her horse. We are very grateful to our wonderful host for taking us out around the countryside. It was beautiful.
